Air Conditioning
An Air Conditioner includes both the heating and cooling of air that manages its moisture level and cleans the air that you breathe . The way that this works is by a chemical refrigerant within the system that absorbs heat and transfers it outside of your home causing your room to begin feeling cooler with the recycled air.
There are 4 major components that make up your energy efficient cooling system:
- Chemical Refrigerant
- Evaporator Coil & Blower
- Expansion Valve
- Compressor
We work on all the major brands of Air Conditioners and will recommend replacing your current system if it is necessary. With the incentives available on New Units it may be the best thing you could do to save money on your energy bill.
Heating
Most heating systems work by drawing air into a heat exchanger that is warmed by using a gas flame or electric heating coils. The warm air is transferred throughout your home or business in metal ducts where it is circulating continuously. Any dust, pollen, or other particles are captured by a filter that cleans the air within your room.
Another option for heating your home is an electric heat pump which works in one of 3 ways:
- Ground to Air
- Water to Air
- Air to Air
One major advantage to a heat pump is that it has the capability of both heating and cooling. They are usually supplemented with a secondary system that uses radiant floor heaters or baseboard units in case of extreme temperatures. Whatever system you currently have we have the experience to service any issues you may have.
